Event Description: 

The Historical Society of Washington, D.C., is thrilled to welcome staff and collections from the Washingtoniana Division of the D.C. Public Library to the Kiplinger Research Library. As the MLK, Jr. Memorial Library undergoes renovation, select materials from the DCPL holdings will be made available through joint services with the Historical Society.

Join staff from both organizations for an orientation to the special collections newly available at the Kiplinger Research Library.

2:00-2:30pm: Staff introductions to the Historical Society holdings and the new material from DCPL.

2:30-4:00pm: Guided and self-service access to ready-reference materials in the Kiplinger Research Library, specifically, real estate atlases and microfilm resources.

Please note, the reading room closes promptly at 4pm.
